BattleZone Comics WoW Minis ARENA Tournament

This Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 12:00 PM BattleZone Comics is hosting a World of Warcraft Miniatures Tournament featuring ARENA rules.

The rules for this ARENA is as follows (can be found on the Deluxe Edition Rulebook):

This is an arena match and, as such, characters can't respawn when destroyed or removed from play.

The party with the last character on the board is the winner.

The map for this week will be the NAGRAND ARENA.

If you have a deluxe map (type does not matter), please bring it to the tournament this weekend. You will need 2 spawn point tokens, and 12 High Ground / Cover tokens. Additional setup and rules can be found on page 34 of your Deluxe Edition Rulebook.

I couldn't make it, my stomach is killing me, I think its one of the prescriptions I am on. Other wise I would have loved to play.

I didn't get my second fillet, but oh well, got the last three models I needed for the set and a deluxe on the way, all off loot card trade ins. Gotta love that.

The new prize kits came in for February. So depending on turnout, we may upgrade it to the new prizes and/or use both ^_^

I traded my second one to a friend. But in the future, I hope to run 2 of them with a solid healer to see how high I can get my dice rolls. I have 30 green dice just in case it ever gets that high! ^_^

Im missing a couple to complete my set! damn it... least I am ordering them here in the next couple days, including another Fillet! Fear him!

At the same time, I want as many people to be part of it as possible, regardless of what miniatures are available to them. So hopefully after today, I can get an idea of what kind of minis people have and from there, gauge the honor cap for the minis.

Eventually it will have an honor requirement. There is no honor requirement right now because if you've been lucky at buying boosters, you will have very high honor minis. The opposite if you're unlucky I suppose. At least this way, nobody is ruled out, and you still have a chance on winning. Only this time, it's skill based if you use a low honor team.
