Saturday Southend Story Spinners
We're looking for a few good... Players!
We are a new story-focused RPG group forming in Henderson, NV. We are 3 so far, looking for 3 - 4 more. Seeking mature-minded fun people who are excited about creating a great atmosphere for everyone to enjoy themselves. As a GM I am story-driven and player-focused. I am leaning towards "less crunch" these days as are the other players currently in the group.
Place: Henderson near Arroyo Grande and American Pacific. Animal free house - some stray cats hang out on the porch at times. We can accommodate smokers (back porch with sliding glass door near the playing area). Address provided on the Yahoo Group once you are invited.
Time: Saturdays starting at 4pm - 12am (ish). Off once a month to attend Vegas Game Day.
So far we know we want to use FATE in some form (3.0, Diaspora, Starblazer Adventures, Awesome Adventures, Strands of FATE playtest...) and it's going to be sci-fi. The sooner you get in, the more say you have in setting! :-D

Just ran across you on rpg.net, on the d20 evolution thread, I was like hey I recognize that name. I'm in the process of house hunting and not sure where I'll end up, but wish you luck, sounds like a lot of fun. Once I get settled if I'm anywhere near Henderson I'll poke around again and see if there's room.

Josh - Awesome! yeah, I post there here and there. Well, you can get here from almost anywhere pretty quick! A couple players are traveling from the North end, so there may be car pooling opportunities.
Have any plans this weekend? We may be pulling together an impromptu game to give some players a chance to try out FATE and get to know each other...

Trentin - I did a friend request so we can move it to email. I should be free this weekend anytime Fri Night, all day Saturday, and after 2pm on Sunday. Haven't played Fate but I have Starblazer Adventures downloaded so I can gloss over that to get an idea.

Folks, I lost Josh to a new home, moving, and like! Josh - I hope you find a time to game or some free time in the future. If anyone gets a chance to play with Josh or offer him a game in a time that works for him, I highly recommend him as a player! Creative, good attitude, and nice person.
So, Stephen Hong - you still interested? Haven't heard from you lately.
I am looking for 2 more players to round out the group. We are using a FATE variant called Strands of Fate and we are an official play test group for this exciting new generic distro of FATE. It's a sci-fi powered by magic technology game in a setting I am writing for the game called In The Shadows of Gaia.

Folks, the system is now officially changed to Savage Worlds, with some Story Game elements tossed in. Also, we will be adventuring the dark post-apocalyptic horror game of Eclipse Phase!!

Well, I have decided to just throw in full throttle with Eclipse Phase. The setting is so compelling and the system works, so that's our upcoming game! Looking for 3 players to fill out our ranks!!! It is at my home in Henderson. Casual, relaxed and can accommodate smokers on the patio near the gaming area. Shoot me an email at trechriron10 (put in the at) yahoo (with a big dot) com. :-D We're you at the last game day? We like to have a dinner with potential players. Would you be up for a dinner and chat? Also, we're looking at changing the frequency to every two weeks outside Game Day. Probably play from 4pm - 11pm ish. I look forward to hearing from you.
