Hey, my name is Dylan and i'm looking for a group to teach me about D&D. I know much of the dragonlance world and learning about the forgotten realms but i dont know anything about D&D itself.
Kicking it old school! Well, at least home campaign. This group is for folks playing D&D in anything but a shared, living campaign like Living Greyhawk or Living Forgotten Realms. Looking for players or a DM, this is the place to go!
Welcome to Vegas Gamers! I'd be happy to play D&D with you! I play at Vegas Game Days and am also up for a game on other days as well.
I also organize the D&D Miniatures Battles games for Vegas Game Day, conventions and gaming sessions at local comic book and gaming stores. DDM is a suite of different variants of strategy wargaming skirmishes and scenarios played with the pre-painted D&D minis. To play the games, you can download and print off statistics cards (stat cards) and the rule books from www.ddmguild.com for free. Those rules and cards plus D&D minis, a map with a one-inch grid and a couple of D20 dice are all you need to play. If you don't have any minis or don't have very many, you are more than welcome to borrow some of ours for games. I'm the DM of Clark County Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures Guild, a chapter of the international non-profit group DDM Guild. Check out our group page here on vegasgamers, www.meetup.com/ccddmguild/ and the main site at www.ddmguild.com to see more about us. We'd love it if you'd join our meetup.com group! It's free and it'll keep you informed as to when the guild is playing games.
Hope to see you at future events and to visit with you on the discussion boards,
Welcome Dylan! We have a Vegas Game Day on March 13, and there is still plenty of room to sign up on warhorn. We will be having tables of D&D and Pathfinder that you can try out.
I've been itching to get back to the gaming table... I LOVED Living Greyhawk and when that ended I tried a couple of "home games" here in Vegas for a few months... then I deployed. I'm back and am jonesing for more games!
Has anything come of this…
