Due to lack of players, I've cut the star wars minis back to every 1st, and 3rd monday of the month. I hear Little Shop of Magic is really busy on saturdays, otherwise I'd try to see about doing it then.

- Wow! That's cool that you have so many Star Wars Minis. If I could make it to a Star Wars Minis game on a Monday, could I borrow a few of yours? It sounds like it would be fun to play.

- Thanks for the reply Tony! Even if you only have a few D&D minis that's okay. I wonder if the guy you talked to who played both SW and DDM played the old version published just by WOC or if he played the newer and improved version by DDM Guild (after WOC handed them the reigns for the D&D Miniatures games). I pretty much learned how to play by playing a skirmish tournament with Garry Stupak and a few other guys at Neoncon 09. I'm still no expert at it, but I've got the free rules books downloaded from www.ddmguild.com so we can always refer to them if we get stuck. I run our games pretty low key and relaxed with a lot of focus on learning how and having fun. So don't worry about being overwhelmed by the game. We'll take as much time as we need to to make sure everybody understands how to play. I don't like it when someone says they'll teach me how then bewilders me with a lot of fast talk and rushed "showing me how" stuff. So we don't do that.
I hope to see you on the 9th. If not, maybe on the 14th.

- Hi Tony! Do you have any D&D minis? Even if you don't, you can borrow some of ours and play DDM Guild games with us! We've had sessions at Little Shop of Magic in December. On January 9th, we'll be at Vegas Game Day and on January 14th we'll be at Action Comics and Sports. I'm getting a new chapter of DDM Guild going, so I'm hosting games in as many places as I can to get the word out about this fun game.
I've thought about getting into Star Wars miniatures, but I'm already into D&D miniatures and my current budget can't handle two gaming obsessions like that :) As big of a Star Wars fan as I am, I'd probably wind up collecting every single mini :) If I could borrow some minis for a session, I'd like to learn how and play with you and the other SWM group though.
I hope to see you at an upcoming event.

I've finally started reading the Pathfinder books i purchased a year ago.. i'm totally interested!
I've been itching to get back to the gaming table... I LOVED Living Greyhawk and when that ended I tried a couple of "home games" here in Vegas for a few months... then I deployed. I'm back and am jonesing for more games!
Has anything come of this…
