I'm looking for playtesters for a game I've been working on, and figured I'd let local area gamers know about it too. Now, aside from the Neoncon Volunteer Call I haven't been to any of the local events (just got here a couple months ago), but I was hoping you'd look past that and consider printing and trying my design.
If you're interested, please proceed to the following sites:

Sooooooooo, I've been thinking lately.... Monpoc is a really great game but with no players. And me, wanting to be the avid Monpoc player, is slightly frustrated on not being able to play as often as I'd like too.... sooo......
anyone wanna learn? LOL!!! Ya, I know. Kinda strange, but if this'll generate more buzz/players, I'd be willing to volunteer and teach people this game, whether through loaning my minis or teaching with theirs. I'll bump this post every couple times a month....
There ha…

Hello. Me again.
So I got my army (score) though its not full and its not modified to my taste yet. However, regardless, I'd like to set up a game of Monpoc this following week. I know LSoM holds tourneys, but outside of that, no one does anything. SOoooo... I'd like to bring my army (you can bring yours) and trade/play over the week. Chances are, I'll be at BZC (its closest to me) around Tues - Thurs to play, past 5.
Curious about playing? I'll teach you. Wanna try it out? I'll play a game wi…

I was perusing miniaturemarket.com today and I restumbled onto their section for Infinity and thought, those are some sweet lookin' figures! I went to the website and did a little research, and it sounds like a remarkably complex game, but intriguing at the same time.
Anyone around here play, or at least have a general idea of how the game is/what it's all about?

Give your miniatures that Hi-Pro Glow!
(Or, you know, a really nice paint job.)
I’m Tiger Malesh and I’ve been painting miniatures for about 14 years. In that time, I’ve gone from complete crap (high-gloss ultra-thick Testors enamel, anyone?) to consistently winning painting contests and “best army” selections. I’ve painted seven complete armies for Warhammer and Warhammer 40k, a company of battlemechs, and hundreds of monsters, heroes, soldiers, knights, and wizards for D&D.
What’…

FYI: I run D&D 4th Edition games at Little Shop of Magic on a regular basis.
On Wednesday nights, starting around 5:30-6:00, I run one of the monthly Delve encounters. I usually, printer ink wiling, have some pregens available of the appropriate level for the Delve. For June, the Delve is going to be 25th level.
On the first & third Saturdays (usually, special event allowing), I run LFR modules. I start at 5:30, with a planned adventure start of 6 pm. At present, the modules I am runni…

I have played V:TES since back in the Jyhad days, and I've run the V:TES US Nationals and the other events at the Origins Convention
for the last 10 years, as well as having GMed other board games there since 1990.
There are a couple of us non-LARPers here in town who play V:TES once or twice a month, and as I just found out about this group, I was wondering if anyone would like to (re?)learn some V:TES? I might suggest the Battlezone Comics store…

I tried to be prepared (and earlier) to Vern's this week for Dark Heresy. I got some advice on my Baneblade, assembled some Marauder Horsemen's horses, and painted the thorns on a Dryad unit, the Thistlekin. Every 15 minutes or so Corey would ask "So, when are you going to play?" So maybe next session I will bring my Grey Knights to play afterwards. I want to get a couple more games in before June 13 at Little Shop for the Lucky 13s game.
During the last week I worked on my Dark Age Xtreme obje…

Saturday 5/09/09 AND 5/16/09 Battlezone Comics will be hosting a free Warmachine/Hordes tournament.
The metal grinding and flesh tearing will start at 11:30P.M. and last 'till dawn!
Yes, there was little warning for this, but since when is war conducted in a fashion that allows people to properly prepare?
Again the tournament is free and if eight or more people show up prize support will be added.
The prize support consists of a figure of your choice at the cost of $15.00 of less!
