Monpoc Yet Again!!
Sooooooooo, I've been thinking lately.... Monpoc is a really great game but with no players. And me, wanting to be the avid Monpoc player, is slightly frustrated on not being able to play as often as I'd like too.... sooo......
anyone wanna learn? LOL!!! Ya, I know. Kinda strange, but if this'll generate more buzz/players, I'd be willing to volunteer and teach people this game, whether through loaning my minis or teaching with theirs. I'll bump this post every couple times a month....
There has got to be a better way to find players :P

I have to agree with Tony on this one - did not strike me as a 'super' expensive game to get into: most of the stuff I needed I got by trading and purchasing a few packs here and there.
It helps that I'm not a 'completist' and that I only really wanted to play with two factions.

Anthony, I'll be there. I heard drafting is alot of fun (i do it in MTG).
Peter, its a decent game that, unfortunately, cost a pretty penny to get into. Then again, isn't that the same with all wargames? However, for me, a big selling point is a: kaiju battle (who doesn't love it) and b: effortless play time (IE, no painting, though painting figures alternate colors isn't against the rules). Idk. Pick up a starter and trying a couple figures. It's not half bad.
